Students are not the only ones learning at RES. Three times a year, grade level teachers (K-1, Gr. 2-3, and Gr. 4-5) work with the district math coach and the school math interventionist in a collaborative learning environment to improve our instruction practice. During a learning lab, the group of teachers review the math unit and lesson goals, plan for instruction, teach the lesson within a classroom, debrief, and plan for the upcoming math unit. It is a productive use of time to improve on our professional growth and to reflect on our math instruction collectively. Thank you to Mrs. Shink, Mrs. Cormier, and our RES teachers!
