Mt. Vernon Elementary School

Mrs. Connor's fourth grade students finished their narrative writing unit with a "Spooktacular" Author Celebration! Throughout the unit students conferenced with their classmates to edit their pieces in spelling, punctuation, and capitalization. They also focused on how dialogue can impact the tone of their writing. Completing their writing on laptops and displaying their stories  using the Smart board also helped them receive feedback during the writing process from peers and teachers.
