Maranacook Community High School

Mr. Gower would like to recognize Carter McPhedran for his leadership and dedication to civic engagement. He worked with the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society students to develop his idea for TED talk style experts to come into school and talk with students about civics and social studies related topics in order to promote the importance of social studies in our lives. He was also involved in bringing in the League of Women voters to register students to vote.
