Middle School Students Make a Difference!
From November 2 - November 9th Middle schoolers collected food and money for the Maranacook Food Pantry. The effort was coordinated by the 7th grade advisee groups for Make a Difference Week. This aligns with the 7th grade year long goal that focuses on community service. MADW is one of two large fundraisers 7th graders will be responsible for this school year. During the week we had a school wide goal of collecting 3000 items. There was a raffle contest and prizes were given out daily to students who participated. Each grade level competed against each other and the grade with the most items were treated to cookies.
Throughout the week students collected a total of 3175 items
3rd place - gr 7 with 618.9
2nd place - gr 8 with 1262
1st place - gr 6 with 1295
